That tag ought to go for 3 times what it did last year. Moose tags were $100 last year, $300 this year.

Cant wait to hear what it goes for... to me, its worth a solid 8k.... not that I have that to spend, but I think it would be well worth that. Hopefully there are a few guys that think its worth MUCH more than that!

I would love to have that tag and if the economy gets going again, I may try to bid on it someday.

I expect it will go for 12,000 to 15,000, unless there are a couple guys who really want it, then it might bring 15,000 to 20,000.

I am guessing around 20k. I don't think it will go over that but I would think it will get close to 20k.

I can see $10k for it, but not 20.   :o

Heck you could get a pretty good guided moose hunt in BC for 10.

It all depends like said. People with a lot of money getting into a bidding war can really drive the price up. Most of those people are not affected like the avg joe. We will all know soon enough. I know the goat tag will not sell for less then 7k without someones name on it 8)

Right but you can also get a world class elk hunt for $20k and yet the gov elk tag brings $50k so there must be other motivators.

It is cool to bid in and win an auction, that is a motivator....
