Anyone shoot the Mathews Helim?

My local Mathew's dealer wants to make a smokin deal on a new helim, anyone shoot one yet?  I shoot the switchback now and really like it, but I'm seriously thinking about trading it in on the Helim.  I'm concerned about it being too small though.  It's got a really short axle to axle, and I'm a big guy with a long draw (30).  I like how light it is, just concerned about the length, anyone shoot one?

I've shot it.  It shoots ok for a mathews :puke:.  I like to shoot a little longer ATA.

thats what i thought. ive always had good service there toand now that i have a mathews i will only be going there, alot lately lol. still gettin used to the new  name!
as far as the bow i cant say, ive never shot it but it looks cool!

Good shooting bow, but I do not like short bows. They are far less forgiving! as far as vibration and feel the the helim I thought it to be pretty good. Draws nice to, just way to short and whippy for this guys :tup:

that was kinda my concern carp, I'm 6'3", and I don't like little bows that feel like a toy.  Been happy with my switchback, so thought I might try the helim :dunno:

I dont know yakima well just wanted to know if there was more than one.  if i was you norse and set on a mathews i would look at one of the monsters.  I think it would be the only mathews i could see myself shooting.

I am 6'1 and I shot 29" draw with a half inch loop. I know the feeling. I love the switchback one of the best bows matthewa has ever built!!! I am not stuck on any one brand and I think I own 8 brands right now and 15 bows as we speak. Going to have 16 within a few months! I have about 6 I need to sell.

When I picked it up that exact thought came to mind "toy" I am use to a bigger and longer bow. With a little more weight and longer ata a guy can really be helped in a lot of shooting. If I was a tree stand hunter or did a lot of ground blind hunting I could see shooting one. The other thing I don't like when a bow gets to light and to short is wind tends to really mess with your shot. Even a little longer bow but with more weight bucks the wind better.

I'm not stuck on Mathews D-rock, I shot Hoyt for 10 years before I got the mathews, it's just that I've had good luck with my Mathews and my dealer that I like to deal with is a Mathews dealer, so I just thought I'd stay with him rather than the brand.  I am a firm believer in keeping business local when the customer service warrants it.  I may just have the switchback freshened up and keep going with it.. :dunno:

My son just bought one from Brandon about a month ago and he loves his. Shoots great and really quiet.!
