Help!
« on: March 24, 2012, 05:46:03 PM »
My name is Kyle and I am an archery virgin. I have a Martin Rage that was given to me. I had it checked out and put everything on it that needed. My problem is that I need someone to show me the ropes and help me get it sited in and set up for me. I have shot it a couple of dozen times and am getting frustrated. I live in the Wenatchee valley and am hoping someone can take me under their wing and get me going in the right direction without building bad habits. Thanks for any help.

Hey Kyle. Welcome to the most addictive sport on the planet. I'm not in your area, but someone on this site will help you out. Try your local bow shop and take a lesson. That'll put you way out in front. Have fun!

Check out archerytalk.com's forums.  Lots of good information there.  Also, download the nuts and bolts of archery and start going through it.  It may not be the quickest fix, but will explain in detail how to tune your bow.
