The basic rule for a lot of pro shooters is the more surface there is on the grip the more contact. It can cause a lot more torque by changing the slightest amount of pressure. With the thin grips like on the x force and my new bear "after taking off the overmold. There is a lot less surface area to cause any torque.

Agreed, as contact SHOULD be limited to only the back of the grip anyway.

I have been looking pretty hard, but people want $1000 plus for their 2-3 year old bow with shi**y accessories and no arrows etc... :dunno: Then they say obo and get offended when i say what they are actually worth. I know they paid a lot for them, but its what they are worth now

I sold my dxt with top of the line accessories for $600.  I have seen a few in my neck of the woods going for around the same price.  Good Luck finding one.

So who all ended up with a Heli-m? Now that you've had some time to shoot it, lets have a range report.

I'm just needing a little push to go down and plop down some "fun-tickets" on one.

Have been putting 50-75 arrows down range per day for the last week.  I am only shooting 30 yard right now as I try to tune my arrow and fine tune my sight.  Initially I could not hold a group worth a darn...6 inch groups...it was gross.   I was shooting to light a spine.  Two days ago I bought two dozen easton axis n fused 300 spine and they are back to my normal tight groups.  It is an extremely  fast bow and darn quiet.  I am drawing 70 lbs and it is a really smooth draw.  The only thing I am not totally sold on is my new sight.  I imagine I will get used to it, but is is trying my pt's right now.  It is the G5 XR2.  Great design and ultra light, just different.
