Spott Hogg Military discount
« on: February 21, 2012, 06:21:39 PM »
I thought I'd pass this information out to those who may be interested.  One of the fellas at work already ordered a "Hunter" site, and is putting it on his bow tonight.  He said that he called for details, and sent his request in via email (.mil address), and that his sight was customized to his choosing of varying pin sizes and colors.  Here's Spott Hogg's email to him:

Subject: RE: SpotHogg Site Direct Message

We do offer a military discount for all active duty soldiers. To receive the discount, we require one of the following: a copy of the front side of your military ID, a copy of your LES statement (please blackout any pertinent information), or an email from a military email address, which you have already done. With that you are offered two items at 45% off of our retail price. We are very proud to be able to offer this discount to you, but it is a two item limit, not a per year discount. I have attached a price list for you along with the catalog to browse through. Orders must be placed direct with Spot-Hogg on our toll free order line at 888-302-7768, and applies only to sights, arrowrests, and releases.

On behalf of everyone here at Spot-Hogg, we would like to say that we are proud to support our troops at home and abroad.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Best regards,
Tina

Great company that makes the best bowsights available IMO. Good to see they are supporting our troops!

Cabe and Tina take good care of you also.  You can't beat the price and the product.

We need to show vendors like this that we appreciate their support of our servicemen and women. This is outstanding.

Dear Sirs,

I’m a customer using your whippersnapper release.

I belong to a large hunting forum, www.hunting-washington.com . We have over 17K members. One of our active duty members let us know today that your company gives discounts of 45% on two products to active duty members. Being a veteran, I want to say thank you for your support of our service men and women. They don’t get enough support from their fellow Americans. Although the whippersnapper has been an almost vertical learning curve for me, it’s a great product. Knowing the kind of people who make it are those who give back like you do means I’ll remain a lifelong customer.

Thank you so much. I’m proud to say I use your products.

Most Sincerely,
PMan

Great post pman!  Good on spotthogg for supporting the troops.  I won't ever buy another brand of sight.  It's good to know the vets in my family may be gone, but never forgotten!
