My 2011 Red Stag Hunt Video!
« on: February 24, 2012, 10:13:58 PM »
Well everyone I treated myself to a early birthday present. I bought a new video editing software yesterday and just had to test it out! I really like this new program and whipped out this quick video. I just got it uploaded to youtube and figured you guys would like to see it to! This is the short version starting from day 3.

IF YOU DO NOT LIKE SEEING PEOPLE GETTING EXCITIED AFTER SHOOTING A ANIMAL. DON'T WATCH :chuckle:
I GET VERY JACKED UP AFTER I SHOOT A ANIMAL AS YOU WILL SEE! SO IF IT BOTHERS YOU PLEASE FEEL FREE NOT TO WATCH OR COMMENT ON IT

Hope you enjoy...

Nice video. Thanx for sharing. Definately not knocking your animal, but he looked small standing next to the other one. Was the other an elk or what? I guess I figured they were similar in size, thats all.
nice shots btw

:chuckle: Yeah that was a elk stag hybrid about a 400+"er, So yeah mine should look small :chuckle: My stag is in the books at just over 327" So he is plenty big enough  The elk that they have brought into new zealand a long time ago were Roosevelt's so they are super massive in both body and horn size. They are about double the weight of most stags.

:chuckle: Hey you putting those hands on my horns!!! Them are fighting words :chuckle:

Charlies stag is pretty sweet 2!!!! He was very happy with it. I think it's going to look sweet in his shop as well  Can't wait to see what he does with it. We talked about a wall pedestal mount. I think that is what he is going to do with it. I am the first guy ever to walk into his shop and drop something off and say "mount it how ever you like"  :chuckle: Charlie has mad skills and I love his work on his elk. So I gave him the go ahead to be creative and do what he likes. I am sure I will love it no matter how it gets mounted

That bull would probably fall into about the 10k range. I am guessing from looking back at him he would be around the 380" mark maybe a little better.
