Very cool congrats! The 280 is a little better if you are a reloader like the guys have said. It is a great cartridge and will take any animal in north America

You're 54, your brother is 58, I'm 63 so you have to listen to me, I'm older. I've had 280's since the early 70's so I know you won't like it so you have to sell to me for $175. Since you don't reload I'll even throw in a box of ammo. Is it a deal?

Congrats on the .280
I wanted one so bad I decided to have one built.
Built it from a Winchester pre 64 model 70 featherweight 30.06
Was grandpas gun but I had 3 of them and a 25.06. I wasn't
Sure if it was the right thing to do or not. But grandpas gun was becoming
A safe queen and now its my new favorite toy haven't got to shoot it much
Yet but it looks and shoots far better now than it did. !!!!!!!!
