New Member Introduction- Bonney Lake
« on: February 26, 2012, 06:08:17 PM »
Hello all, didn't see anywhere specific for this but when I join a new forum I like to introduce myself.

Moved to WA in September for a new job, I am a Wildlife Specialist with the Dept. of Agriculture (I work with human-wildlife conflicts).  I'm an avid bowhunter, other than at work I don't pursue anything other than coyotes with a rifle anymore.  Not much of a bird hunter anymore, though I have been in the past.

Just getting started looking for places to hunt for this fall, will be chasing blacktails for the first time and elk for about the 14th time :)  Hunting in the forests here rather than the desert or pine forests of Eastern Oregon where I'm from will be a change.  Treestands are totally new for me, looking forward to the challenge.

Kinda getting the itch to take the bow afield so I might be taking a trip for spring turkey over east if work isn't too crazy.

Enjoying the forum, it's nice to live in this day and age with all sorts of contacts/information at your fingertips.

Thanks for the great welcome. JKEEN33, I might just do that.  I've been to the Skookum archers range and have considered joining there as well, it's a bit closer to me.  I'll have to make a decision soon for sure.

As far as kill shots and coordinates, first I have to find a place to hunt  :)  I would imagine it will be in the vicinity of No Tell'um Creek though  ;)
