westport for halibut

looking to book a trip am limited to  TEQUILA TOO ,BLUE EYES, or FURY .Does anyone have any experience with these boats.They are the only ones left with space for the only day i can go
Any info goods and /or bads would be appreciated

I went out bottomfishing on the Tequila Too, the boat was nice and the skipper seemed like a pretty good guy, the day we were out with him it was rough as hell but we still caught the boats limit in rockfish and about a half boat limit of lings.

The wife and I had the worst charter trip I have ever been on with the Blue Eyes. The other 2 boats are good and have been in Westport for years. I would cancel my trip before I ever booked with the Blue Eyes again.

Tequila Too is a good boat/captain.  Book it.

I have no experience with the Blue eyes or the captain. I can however recomend both the tequilla too and the Fury. The Fury isn't the nicest boat in the harbor, but the Captain Mike Harris is a really great guy, both boats will put you on fish and you'll have a lot of fun. Be prepared to have sore arms!

What boat was he on? That is far from the truth. Halibut are often a little less plentiful in westport, but usually average a bigger size, and limits on halibut and lings are still the norm. Its about 8nm farther to the halibut grounds in westport than out of lapush, and you have to deal with the grays harbor bar, but neither of those are anything I would worry about in a 55ft vessel, laid back in your chair eating chicken wings watching the newbies puke their guts out

Im very bias to LaPush. There are not many charters there, but the fishing from your boat is GREAT!
Most charters(in washington) will put you on smaller halibut so the quota stays low=more people to book.
