Drop tines are cool, I would have let the air out of him quick, fast, and right away. 

This buck was the the only reason I did not I had been trying to get people on this deer during modern firearm and played cat and mouse with him in the late hunt. I was lucky enough to end up taking him you should read the story and you will know why I passed on the drop tine. Something I would never do in normal conditions! This was a giant for our benchleg standards! Most of our deer have more blacktail then mule deer blood. Even though we are classified as a mule deer unit.
