Bucks this time
« on: July 27, 2008, 01:37:56 AM »
So I planned to check this again in a few day's but I couldn't wait! Ridgerunner stopped by to say hi today and we started talking about the trail camera so right after he left I had to check it ... and whadaya know! At first I thought it was the same buck but then a closer look proved the third pic is a 3x2. The first two pics a 2x2 is the same buck I walked up on bedded while I was trying to find a place to set the camera last Tuesday afternoon.

The 2x2 looks a little heaveir too! Sorry I may have to reposition it too, I have it pointed East and it looks like the sunrise fuzzes the pic quite a bit.

M_ray the pics are way over exposed? If you have the camera facing East or West that's the problem. The sun is hitting your Camera lens. Face it North or South. If you have a Bear Safe box or some kind of security box around the camera the flash is bouncing off it and back into the camera lens. Just put a thin strip of weatherseal around the outside of the flash and that will cure the problem. Good Luck

Slider, Yep and you may have missed this quote at the bottom! I know I am going to have to reposition it but ultimately I want it in a totally different area so I'm just messing around with it here. This thing is litterally 150 yards from my house, so I'm not sure I'm gonna invest a bunch of time with this spot, but I do however want to make my mistakes here so I can get it right the first time when I pick my final spot! Thanks for the advise  :)
