140 Grain Berger VLDs with Retumbo I think I am getting 2800...

My gun seems to like the 130s a bit better though.

We are getting 2940 fps out of a Cooper Phoenix with 140 Bergers and H4350.  Tack driver.

Another buddy is getting a little over 3000 fps out of the same rifle/bullet with Vit N160

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

I shot one deer at about 650 in the WY high country with it.  My buddy has taken several elk, deer and antelope with his.   Most of the shots have been over 300 yards and most of those dropped in their tracks.   I watched him shoot a mule deer at 385 or so yards in Idaho this past year and it dropped like a "Best of the West" shot.   Watched him shoot another buck in Colorado at about 170 yards, quartering away thru the Junipers and it jumped and nose dived (made it about 10 yards) after the shot.

I'd try the 4350 load in that cartridge.  If it shoots good in your rifle, leave it alone.

I have heard great things about IMR4350 too... Is the burn rate similar to H4350? How many grains are you using of the H4350?

I've been using IMR7828 too..getting just about MOA

I have started to run a lot more imr4350. There is a pretty big gain over my fave h4831.
