got our mounts back

went and picked up our mounts from peters taxidermy the other day finally got some pictures of them these where both high hunt bucks from last year

fred peters dont post on here its about time some of his customers do he and his wife jodean do great work all though there atleast two years back on a shoulder mount they do a great job on all there work and jodean is outstanding on birds i would put her against any one in the state shes 31 plus years on birds check out there shop shee does killer work

i dont think fred knows how to turn a computer on :chuckle: :chuckle: but yes he does amazing work and from what i have seen of the bird mounts in the shop they are great. they are not cheap but i was willing to pay more for a quality mount it is the first deer i have ever shot and my first mount other then euro style. and it does help that they are only a few miles from my hunting parters house and my parents.

freds a great guy i own and operate summit creek taxidermy its my 5th year in business and every time i have a question i call fred and hes always helped me the best that he could in fact fred gave me the tanning recipe i use today its a great tan its worked awesome for five years now thanks fred

I agree Biggdogg.  Keeps the character!  THey did a really nice job, especially with the early season capes.   Some memories to be relived everyday with those.

i agree too brets deer (the bigger one) was i fighter both deers where tore up and he had alot of scar tissue on his face it didnt really turn out on the mount but after he was down we sat and looked at him for awhile and there was huge scars allover was kinda cool its hard to tell but mine had a big tine ripped off of his left antler just under his g3
