Guide to Cut & Paste

    I have read a few posts lately about why aren't more people doing more about X.
I have thought about this some and would like to provide what i think are some good guidelines to make the issue heard, and get people involved. Cut and paste activism is what the  anti's do to make their number look bigger. If we adopt the same kind of plan we will drowned out the anti's.
  Most people want to to help, but you need to lay it all out for them so its SUPER easy to do.

   1 State the issue as clearly and effectively as possible. How will it affect us on a local level.

   2 provide an example letter that states the case well, and has already been proof read. (The part that most people don't want to do because it takes time, and they don't want to come off looking stupid or uneducated.)

   3  Provide the Email addresses of everyone you want people to send them to. OR put in the Hyper link that tells you who your Rep or Congressman is ( I know its on the board, but if you make it SOOO easy by including all the steps you are more likely to get someone to do the whole task.)

   4  If you want to create hype about the issue here, make follow up posts in the after dinner hours. Post other articles on the subject, or conversations you have had with politicans.  Usage during the work day is relatively low compared to after dinner.

I personally try and make emails why I'm waiting on the phone at work, and often get sidetracked when all points are not covered for me... This site is a great platform to make the hook and bullet crowd heard. Lets use its potential to the maximum effect, and keep the whining to a min.

I agree.
Personalized is better, but cut and paste will get the job done.
