I was being half sarcastic but I will tell you that there are 97 B&C entries that are nannies (50 of them making the all-time book). Thus, it's easy to speculate that many more have been killed that would make the book, yet were not entered. So killing a nanny is not really a joke if it's big enough. I would bet a good amount of money that the majority of the nannies entered in B&C are over 10" and many of them being 11" plus. (I wish I was subscribed and could look) When my dad killed his 9.25" goat in BC in 1999, his guide instructed him to shoot a nanny that he guessed at 11.5" and would make B&C easily. Well, unfortunately he missed the nanny.

Saw him at the club with his son the other day shooting. He's already getting his bow in hunting form.

I have pictures of two different nannies in the Baker area that are 12+ inches including the one Jakelope posted. I also have a billy that is pushing 12. There are some big goats up there. That is for sure.

Have you been out scouting yet?  Snow is starting to melt but I would imagine you still need to take the snow shoes with.

I'll take the lack of response as a yes. :)

I know James was hoping to get out this week.  Still pretty tough to access his unit but the goats can be found.

I was out last weekend and found this yearling.  Snow is definitely starting to melt.

On another note, here are the big nannies people have been referring to:

This is one of them:

And then as previously posted, this girl was photographed in a different herd the very same year.

But Bearhunter is looking for a billy like this!
