That first attempt is better than many others that have been doing for years.  You did a fine job on the head.  That being said, I realize that pictures always take away from the real quality of the animal.  It's always better in real life.  My only recommendation:  resoak the eyes while they are wet and reposition.  Cougar eyes are the hardest.

Great looking mount, really like that relaxed look vs the open mouth, snarling look.  Beautiful cat, congratulations!

Carp ..he was a big kitty .... I seriously want to see what a 180 pounder looks like .... this cat was around the 140 or alittle more ...we weighed him after he was dead for a couple days and as most would know they loose alittle body weight once they have been laying in your truck a couple days in freezing weather...He measured 56+ inches nose to butt so I ordered the closest form to it which was 55 inches ...he is right at 7' + nose to tip of tail ....Just wait until I get him on the rock ...that will be any day now  :chuckle: the picture does no justice for how he really looks ....

Like I said I know you aint a giant so the cat looks like a monster. I think that cat should have been more then 140 like weight. My buddies kid shot one awhile back that was 143lbs and that cat for sure looks bigger then that. I would have no problem thinking that cat was 170+lbs. He also has a great head on him and does not look like a mid sized cat. He looks bigger then that.
