Thanks, I was tired of heating my whole shop to dry the paints and stuff and it really works good surprisingly enough !!

How about this Tom, I just have to figure out that top color then clear coat, hopefully it will be close enough !!

Here is another color I have had good success with !!

What happened?

Got a call from Pt Wilson Darts and they told me I better not go any further, said it cuts into their profit margin when folks find their color scheme and match it on their own. The guy offered me a job though, said i could do that painting thing all day if I wanted and even get a discount on their supplies  but I turned him down said I'm retired and have too much fishin to be doin instead of that workin thingy ya'll do, then he asked where I got all the darts from and I knew then it was over and I had to tell the truth................. speakin of which I'm lyin right now !! None of that happened, I'm just joking !!!

Those jigs I bought had some kind of silver coating on them and the paint I used isn't stickin to em (found out after I dropped it and the paint chipped off !!) so I have to figger out a new method for em but they were lookin good I gotta say !!  :IBCOOL:

EDIT: I should clarify that all the other ones are working perfectly and have an ultra hard finish, its just the couple that I painted over that shiny silver stuff that was on them, the others I removed it before I painted them !!

Those are jigs?? I saw those over at sportco and couldn't figure out what they were for. Do you have to put anything on them or just use them like a normal jig??

Nope you don't put anything on them, my theory is fish are stupid so they bite em !!  :chuckle:

No seriously......Nothing goes on them and you just bang them on the bottom and for some reason fish like them, don't ask me why, maybe someone here has a scientific definition but as for me, fish are stupid !!  :dunno:
