Gun rights ,,,,They are digging deeper !!
« on: March 06, 2012, 07:25:39 AM »
Last night I was watching the NBC News about Iran and at the bottom of the screen a sentence came across saying how a MD Man was Denied to ReNew is concealed weapons permit because he Could Not Justify needing it other than to protect HIS Residence and Family !!! That is messed up !!! :bash: :yike: Then it goes on to say each state has its own right to set their own gun laws .....We best get ready because its obvisious they are slowly out to get us .... All the sheet I have put up with over the years I am turning into my own activist  :dunno: :o 8)

I believe the ticker came across because the MD law was found unconstitutional.  The law had stated that you had to justify the need for a handgun permit - IE - handgun -  which then had to be approved before you could get a handgun.

I also saw that in CO, judge ruled that college students could pack on campus ( I believe with a CWP)

May that for which I prepare never come to pass.

Cylvertip is correct.  While it is BS that the guy had to file a lawsuit, the federal judge ruled in his favor and in favor of all gun owners IMO by stating that the right to self defense does not end at your doorstep and that the guy didn't have to prove that he had that right or the right to keep and bear arms (ie: get a concealed carry permit).  More and more gun control cases are going the way of gunowners so now is the time to keep up the support and fight to take back some of the ground that has been given up over the years.

The best way to vote is with your dollars. If you live in an area ruled by *censored*s, pack up and move to a state where your freedom is restored. Yes, it IS that simple.

Where I live I can carry a gun without a permission slip from the government.

Contrary to popular belief, WA is an open carry state.  You need the permit to concealed carry.  The way the open carry law is written however; leaves it open to skewed interpretation by local police.  It was originally written in reaction to actions of the Black Panther party in California in the late 60s.

This is why I left my home state and moved to Montana...  Native Washingtonian, but it has become a cesspool of socialism.  I'm a Montanan now. Won't go back until the socialists have been banned.
