Just wanted to see what the majority of you use..in my mind it will be crow and coyote.  Just curious.  :)

I keep it easy and use my crow call.  If for some reason I don't hear anything and I know they are in the area I will howl.  That gets them fired up.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

Coyote on the pm roost
Truck door when looking in new areas
Crow in afternoon
Muleysnipers Farts on the morning roost :chuckle:

Oh and occasional racking of shotgun with tom at 25 yards once I realize I forgot to chamber a round. That one is very affective.  :chuckle:
Man I wonder how many of us done that !!! :dunno: :chuckle:The last situation we had was my son did not close the pump the whole way when he loaded it ....He finally figured it out as the bird was gobbling his head off and strutin around the decoy ...Well lets say he did not make it  :chuckle:

I just whistle very loudly most of the time-seems to work, but at times I use a peacock call-don't like it real well as it really sends the whitetails into a frenzy.  Predator call works well, but it really drives the whitetails nuts-not sure that effects the turkeys, but I suspect their wild stampedes don't help.

I use a different call then any listed. I do use some of the ones above when I might be in areas with other hunters. I only use the magic locator call when I know I have no one around. It's the only locator call that always works if there is birds within hearing distance. Most all others will work a good part of the time.

Before season a peacock call.

During season on private land only - gobbles and hen cuts, yelps, clucks & purrs - maybe peacock.

On public land during season, I mix it up and use a different one every couple of hundred yards going out and coming back ... peacock, crow, owl, coyote, hawk, elk, hat slap, leaf rake, etc.

I use the peacock/woodpecker call the most. However I have better luck with the truck door or smashing a pop can with your foot.
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is who you actually are while your reputation is merely who others think you are.
