Rattle snakes

watching the animal planet the other day i saw a show on the texas rattle snake round up and made me wonder if anyone in washington buys them for the hides and for the meat?? if so is it worth the hassel or risk to go out and cath them???

And no its not worth the time, Every one that I killed last year was when I was running down back roads. I only killed them because there are kids that ride there bikes down these roads and play. Didnt want the risk to be there...

pjb3 where abouts are you located? i know of a few places around my area here in walla walla that hold a lot of rattlers. found a den last year and didnt realize it till i was standing in the middle of it. killed 4 before it got too intense for me. and out of that same area the past 2 years ive killed about 25 snakes. about 20 of those i wasnt even looking for. if your ever over here send e a PM id be more than happy to go out and show ya around.

Sorry I work in a hospital so I had to chuckle.     The money was in the poision, but not sure if that is still marketable.   make sure you have good health insurance though.    :)

I'm north of Seattle bout an hour but for sure willing to travel. WHen do you think they will be out? I'd definitely be up for some if you can show me the places
