any rendezvous'ers here?
« on: March 06, 2012, 10:45:27 PM »
My father in law belongs to the Bremerton Brigade and they have muzzleloader shoots often. I was thinking of getting some people together for these shoots if the clubs would allow that. Do you belong to a club and which one and do you have any insight?

I have been a member of 7 Rivers Mountain Men since they first started. I haven't been very active for quite a while. I have all the toys!! Flintlocks, percusion, longrifles, hawkens, tradegun, pistols, tomahawks and knives. I have been hunting with traditional guns since the first muzzleloader elk seasons in western WA. Nothing more fun than a weekend of friendly competition at a rendezvous!

Check this web address - it has most of the Rondy's listed and they are a lot of fun...

I would be interested in learning and shooting.  I'll have to check out the "brigade".  I belong to the BI Sportsman Club but haven't talk muzzleloader down there yet.

I really appreciate traditional hunting methods.

I thought it would be really fun to get people who wanna have a little fun competion to get together at one. I dont know that they would let the inlines in though? I prefer a real muzzleloader anyway, so would anyone be interested? I think the clubs wouldnt mind a little extra cashflow.
