i have a cougar tag that came with my bear tag,  i wasn't planning on cougar hunting,.. but now i just realised that the season is still open,  what are my chances of getting a cougar in the columbia basin?  or am i better off just throwing the tag away?

they are here but hard to find. There was a couple running in the horse heavens a couple years ago. Easterday farms had 5k on the head of one of them  :yike:  :yike: I think you have to go either direction to increase your odds! I was out of bickleton last year and followed 4 sets of tracks up a road! Never saw them but the tracks were fresh

yeah, i will most likely just scrap the tag,  i dunno anything about hunting cougars, and i have no idea where to start, and i dunno if i'll have time to go out to look for one.  i should've paid attention to the regs more,  i thought all seasons were over in dec.
