Bernie is the best taxi I know, the 2 year wait is worth it.

Bernie does a great job and he is a character.  I live pretty close so when I can I swing in to see him and what has showed up at the shop and have a beer.  You guys see that bull he got over in Idaho?

You can always tell a north central WA muley by his antler colors.  North Central WA muleys typically have the darker/reddish antlers due to what they are rubbing.  Southern muleys usually have lighter colored antlers due to rubbing on sage and what not.  This is most likely an obvious statement but before you ask what late tag he had take into account what late tags for muleys are offered, and also take into account the genetics of the buck and the country in the back ground.  Obviously a North Central muley migrating down to spread his seed.

Nice Buck!

Mulies are great, and that's a fine one. Like everyone else, I keep trying for that late season tag too!  :'(

Hunting mulies here is a wonderful thing, I hope the population stays strong...

I keep coming back to look at your field photos.  Looks like great weather, great country.  Love to read the story of the hunt.  What a great buck!!

How did I miss this thread.   :dunno:  What a great looking WA buck.  For my money, a WA mulie like this is the equivalent to a 190 Wyoming/Colorado buck.  Great mount too.

Nice buck and beautiful mount. I have a couple little NCW racks as well, they are definatly my favorite colored mulies and racks, congrats on a great buck.
