Well so far there are 5 members with a Monroe tag. 5 out of 25 so far, and more people will be reporting as they find out. That's cool as chit! 6 out of 20 for Skagit. Hunt wa rocks!
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

I shot mine with my sako 300 win mag last year. I have shot all my bears with that gun. I think the black widow "my 34owby" will come out and play this year. I will take my bow as well. That country is tuff for bowhunting from what I have been in it!

It's still hunting last year only 6 of the 20 people who drew tags shot a bear and reported it! It is still a hunt. Last year the weather was very poor. I saw only 2 bears in 2 days I spent in that area.

where did you find out how many reported carp is it posted for all of the spring hunts?

No idea on that. I am not from the area and do not know of the main line. There is a few members on here that live up there that might be able to tell you.

I called and spoke to someone at the office after the season was over. I think there was 5 or 6 of us members that had tags last year and I was the only one to shoot one there. So I do not find it hard to think that only 6 of the 20 killed bears.

Yeah I did not think 2011 was up yet

Here is the link to 2010

http://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/harvest/2010/reports/bear_hunt_name.php

Looks like 18 out of 20 hunters reported hunting and out of the 18 Only 3 Killed bears in skagit.

My Dad pulled the Kapowsin tag! I got pulled last year and it was a blast.

We had fresh snow at our place this morning.  So, the bears in Skagit might be emerging a little late.
Cut em!

I drew North Skagit!  First time drawing a tag! I guess it time to start scouting....I don't know this area.  Made it my first choice as it is closer to home. I live in Kent.  Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
