Hope I get to bag a spring bear with my .450 bushmaster. I bought it for bear hunting but thought I would have to wait until August.

I have been up there for the nooksack hunt do you know if they give out access to the main line, for this hunt or is it still walk in.

The WDFW will contact you and you get a key from the dnr. You have to pick it up in person in sedro Woolley and give like a 100 deposit which is not cashed if you turn in the key. I drew last year and went quite a few times. Didn't see hardly any sign until the last 10 days. Saw a lot of sign the last week and the last day went in the morning and got into places that were terrorized by bears. Went back home, fell asleep and barely made it back before dark. Never saw one until my drive out in the dark the last day of the season. I now hate all of you who drew and am now giving you the silent treatment.

Nada.  Last time I drew any special hunt tag was 2003, I figure the bad luck must be coming to a end soon.  Until then Idaho continues to get my non-resident fee.
It's a TIKKA thing..., you may not understand.

I drew North Skagit!  First time drawing a tag! I guess it time to start scouting....I don't know this area.  Made it my first choice as it is closer to home. I live in Kent.  Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

UGHHHHHHHH  Lots of scouting once you get the map of the area,  you get the key from the DNR in Sedro, $100 deposit.

My brother and I put in together and got drawn for Dayton. One of my good hunting buddies also got drawn for Dayton. Looking forward to the hunt and hoping for better weather than last time I got drawn for spring bear.
