That Northern Alberta spring bear hunt is looking pretty good... wish we were doing it this year.

I drew for Kapowsin!  :tup: Does anybody know the details of getting the access permit?

go to there recreational website there might be some left

I just called the Kapowsin Forest office.  They said that they get a list of the spring bear draw from the State and they sell 2 month permits just for spring bear for $100.  That's a significant break from the $350.00 for the general access permit.  She said that it is usually 2 weeks from the draw before they get the list.

just be paitent with kapowsin, takes them awhile to get everything out but yes they do sell a $100 spring bear access permit.
