I don't post very much but have to say this is a excellent site to frequent.  I should and will get more involved in the future.  But on another note, I didn't get drawn, but the wife got drawn for the Lincoln unit.

Even though I'm disgruntled from not being drawn . . . . AGAIN!!! Congrats to all that were selected, I look forward to following your hunts and seeing your success photos.

Keep your trail cams off the roads Dan

HAHAHA! That was priceless laster year. looked like he was out hunting in his pjs ROFLOL!

I was talking to jeremy after the draw I told him if a few of his buds wanted to tag along with me and him "on his days off" then I would be game. I find a hole to kill them in if there isnt someone there to yell at me to wait for one closer to the road :chuckle:

There is always 20 tags from what I gather. So it should not be more crowed then any other year. Plus 45 days to hunt should spread us out.

You can search skagit on here and see some of the bears. I think mine might have been the only one posted by a member last year.

I shot mine with my sako 300 win mag last year. I have shot all my bears with that gun. I think the black widow "my 34owby" will come out and play this year. I will take my bow as well. That country is tuff for bowhunting from what I have been in it!

It's still hunting last year only 6 of the 20 people who drew tags shot a bear and reported it! It is still a hunt. Last year the weather was very poor. I saw only 2 bears in 2 days I spent in that area.
