Bears don't make it to their second birthday around me.
LOL Teenage KILLER

I understand  :chuckle: I shot a golden cinnamon 1.5 year Juvenile years ago. They look so big some times. The last one was a Fat 300lb + sow (live weight). She was the oldest and bigest sow I have ever shot 19 year old. Here is a pic of my sow. I don't have many pic's.  I had to cut her up and pack her out by my self. All I had was my cell phone so I didn't take many pic's.

I shot a blacktail buck a couple years back in OR.  He was old and antlers definitely regressing.  Your required to submit teeth on this hunt and it came back aged at 6-1/2yrs.  He was listed in the top 10% age class for all buck teeth that were submitted.  I've talked to a couple bios in that region and they say a buck's typical life expectancy is 6-7yrs and does 9 to 11.

:yeah: I agree. I read that they live 7-yrs +. I think it all depends on weather, food, cover, and predators. My buddys girl shot a very old blktail doe this year. She weighed dressed out at 65lbs. Their was no back straps and the pelvic was poking out. My buddy said later that she didn't have any teeth left. I wish I know how old the blktail doe was. We were hunting a private lot just out of town. I have a pic look how big her body is but the back end is thin. At least she got shot instead of starving.

3 to 5 years when heavily hunted, 9 to 10 years "natural deaths" and up to 17 - 20 years in captivity.

The Googles, which my computer is equipped with, is excellent for finding this type of information.

which one the 1.5 year old or the 19 year old? The 19 year old I didn't take measurement's.  I would say more like 5'-6"+ I don't know.  I am having a 3/4 shoulder mount made. The first pick is a 6' bear killed years ago. The second pic is the skulls of the bruin and sow with a 10g shell. The 3nd is about 3/4's of her in the tailgate of my truck.  :sry: Bad cell phone pic at night and about the fresh skinned whitetail.  I bagged them on the same day and a turkey the next morning. Then 4 day later filled my 2nd deer tag on cypress with a nice 3pt blktail.  2009 season was great.  The fourth pic is a friends Buddy's Big blktail killed in Sultan this year. That's all I know about the deer. I just thought I would share it.
