Thats one of the nicest bear rugs I have seen biggerhammer, from trophy quality to hair quality to mount.   Seriously a beautiful rug.

Thank you, up close and personal. Maybe 20 yards with a .375 H&H.

20 yards! Wow.

Yep, I was standing with my GPS in both hands and my rifle on my shoulder and here he came like a ghost, didn't make a sound for being as big as he was. Dropped the GPS and went for the rifle, sight picture, BANG! That fast.. Knocked him down, slipped on the pine needles and almost slid right into him steep down hill, the second shot was point blank, 4ft off the end of the barrel and he was pissed the first shot had broke his back. He wanted a piece of me but just couldn't maneuver to do it. It was a real adrenaline rush, the type where you almost feel sick when you come down. Only experienced that feeling when I was in the military.

Come on willy that guy ain't nothing like the milk drinker you killed with me about 14 years ago on the coast, lets see some pictures that that little feller.  You still got that 5 point shed I walked right by?

So, first off, the rug in the pic is not mine. Just an opportunity to take a silly photo.
Second, that bear was so small I did not take any pics. You asked if you could and I embarrassingly said "sure". If you got it...hold it.

Yes, I still have that shed. It is in two pieces as I cut part of it for a couple of calls.
