Latest soak Feb. 17 - Mar. 8
« on: March 11, 2012, 02:05:12 PM »
This was the first time I have used my new Moultrie m-100 trail cam. It took 3500 pics in 5 days and then shut off. I backed off the pics so next time it will last a little longer. The big 5 lost his antlers..... I never found em. Not yet anyways!

Hopefully most of the snow is gone by the time I go turkey hunting. I would love to find some of the sheds from the bucks ive watched all year.

Those are some sweet pics. That cow in the second elk pic looks like she is packing twin calves in that gut of hers. Either that or she is extremely well fed.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. She looks like shes gonna pop! Although, the elk did eat a wjole bale in just a few days..... that was SUPPOSED to last the deer just a bit longer. I threw a salt block out this time as well so it will give them something when the food runs out.
