Multi-Season Deer Permit
« on: July 28, 2008, 10:41:38 AM »
I just received a letter from WDFW notifying me that I have been selected for a multi-season deer license but it does'nt show up on their website. Anyone else get selected in what must be the third drawing?

I believe that it has something to do with the second batch of Multi-season tag drawings. If the people don' buy their tags on the first drawing then the second drawing is the left overs.

This is probably the second drawing.  I got it after the first of September last year which was the third drawing, at least I thought.  I figured I lost my points, but maybe there aren't points for it... :dunno:

Talked to a guy from wdfw who said the drawing(3rd) was on friday. Apparently my notification was lost in the mail in the 2nd drawing and I was passed up.(@%$#heads) I would call them asap before the 4th drawing!

Just got a reply from WDFW,

Rick,

The results are not online as of right now.  They are hoping to have the results and the ability to purchase will be later this week.

No points are used if I remember correctly. The multiseason tags are a stand alone drawing
One shot, one Deer. Two shots, maybe one Deer. Three shots, no Deer

I talked to a guy yesterday with the wdfw who said you do collect bonus points on your multi-season permits just like the other special permits. I am torn, I also received this late (3rd draw) notification that I have been drawn. If you don't buy it you keep your points for next year if you do buy it you lose them. Which I can understand because your getting the permit. But knowing you have one before the special permit drawings would be nice. I would have changed my selections and had a much better chance with some of the the primitive weapons draws. Now I could only do general hunts.   :twocents:
