Cool photos! Did that spike survive on the east side, or is he a western WA spike?

He didn't. they all took off right after that. I was hoping he would drop the antlers but never did. I found a matched set of elk sheds on the road about 1/4 mile before these pictures. It was opening say of turkey season last year so all that was about 30 minutes after I got my turkey. It was a good day!
