Looking for partner Kitsap/Mason/Jefferson
« on: March 12, 2012, 07:43:22 PM »
I am just getting back into hunting and was looking for someone to hunt some coyotes/varmint/?? with in the Kitsap/Mason/Jefferson area.  I spent years hunting in SW Washington for Deer, Elk and coyotes then got into the military and spent 5 years in Kalifornia and stopped hunting.  I came back to WA in 2007 but have just been really busy working and such. I am looking for someone I can learn the area from, and maybe bag a few coyotes along the way.  I also plan on doing some scouting for deer season this summer.  I currently live in the North Kitsap/Poulsbo area but would be willing to travel a bit to meet up with someone.

Guess I should also say I am a new member here, actually been involved with SeattleGuns and Opencarry for many years, not sure how I ended up missing this forum though.  Looks like a great place to hang out here though, and a lot of good information.

Thanks!

Hey MadHatter,

Always looking for some good guys to go hunting with. Me and a buddy have been hunting Elk in the Nooch and deer here in the Coyle Unit for the last couple of years. (All be it with out much success) We normally do Archery but this year might do Muzzle loader ELK. Don't really care for the pumkin patch in general rifle season. I've never been coyote hunting(so wouldn't be able to help you find a spot)  but would like to try it sometime, My 308 might be a little over kill though.

I live out in Indianola.

PM me maybe we can hook up.

Area 16 on Fort Lewis is a good Yote hunting area, just make sure you go out and registar and follow all the check in rules. There is some simpson land along hwy 3 that is good for yotes also. Allthough its been awhile since I have hunted the area. Will be back home from the military later this year and will have to rescout the area's.

Hello,

I am always looking for new people to share hunting experiences with. I hunt most of the Southern and Eastern side of the Olympic Mountains and in Mason County outside Allyn. If you are interested let me know. I am currently gearing up for a high mountain buck hunt in the Olympics.
