Czeck hunters in South Africa

Hello all
I hunted the past week with two guys from the Czech. Rep.
Tomas Rohan and his hunting partner Jiri Spinler are from Prague.
On Tomas's list was, Kudu, Impala, Blesbok and Warthog.
Animals bagged, Kudu, Impala and Blesbok.

Jiri wanted a Gemsbok,Impala, Blesbok and a Bushpig.
Animals bagged, Gemsbok,Impala and Blesbok.

Calibre used:
Tomas used my 308 Tikka with 150gr ammo.
Jiri used my 30-06 Musgrave with 150gr ammo

Hunt took place on different concessions, High fenced and low fenced properties.

10/04/12
We left the lodge at 4-15am and arrived at our hunting destination at 6-45am.
Tomas got his Kudu

Kudu went down on the ridge and we waited  for help.
Relaxing while we wait. Jiri went with the owner to look for Gemsbok while we bring the Kudu in.

Preparation to get the Kudu down to the vehicle


Few hours later we got to the skinning shed, of loaded the Kudu and went back for Impala.
Tomas did well on the stalk and we managed to take a ram

Jiri got his Gemsbok after many hours stalking and at the end of the day we had them in the salt



11/04/12
Today was Jiri's turn for Impala and Blesbok



12/04/12
We went for Warthog and Buspig today. Pigs 2, hunters 0.

13/04/12
We tried once more on the Warthog, no luck.
We went for Tomas's Blesbok because it was the last day of theire hunt.
We put in a good stalk and he got his Blesbok.

It is spelled CZECH there is no CZECK country ,I'm from there I should know  :chuckle:

Nice looking animals and happy hunters.   A return trip to Africa is on my bucket list.
