Single shaft arrow fletching jigs?
« on: March 13, 2012, 05:16:38 PM »
Bohning vs Greyling vs AAE fletching jigs, any thoughts?  I', just looking for a single jig to do a dozen or two arrows (4" vanes for me and blazers for my wife) and do repairs as necessary.

Thanks.

I have used several types, and the Jo Jan beats them all hands down.

I went through a couple before I bought the Bitzenburger. I would suggest saving time and starting with that one.
:yeah:

I've seen two styles of these, one is maybe an older model? It seems the support that holds the broadhead end sticks out a little farther on the older one and can maybe slide in and out.   Any ideas on that?  I'd be looking at straight with a right offset.

I can get this one for $55, a good deal?

You sure it comes with a clamp, or is it jig only.  If it's complete that's a good price.  I bought mine for about 80 bucks two years ago.

Yes, the Blitz. Here's the one with the extended support end.  Don't go sniping me now....   :chuckle:

The two others are auction only but they close after this one.  Comes with a clamp.

Thanks

Just saw there was no link....

I picked up a pair of Jo Jans today, one has a right helical and one has a straight clamp,  I get to experiment a little, can't hardly wait for them to get here.
