Ordering Arrows
« on: March 13, 2012, 08:17:04 PM »
Any good recommendations for places to order pre-cut, pre-fletched, ready to shoot arrows?  Does Cabelas offer that?  I've only ever used Mountain Archery.

look on ebay...you can find stores that offer all those services.  I have found that buying raw shafts and doing it myself is way cheaper.

i've never bought fletched and cut arrows from them, but lancaster is usually pretty close on price and they'll stand behind their product.

I ordered my last set from The Sportsmans Guide.  They were aluminum, ready to go out of the box (after adding a field point).  Sometimes they have plenty of archery gear, sometimes not.

I've been using mountain archery for a few years now... never had any issues with them at all..

Do you have a specific kind of arrow spine/weight in mind? what kind of bow are you shooting? If you already know what shoots good out of your bow then you can order online. If not a pro shop can really be helpful. They can help you figure out the best spine/length to use. You can start off by buying 3 shooting and altering them then buy a full dozen once you get it dialed in...  :twocents:
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Also, don't forget Amazon.com.  I've found some screaming deals on there over the last few years.  Just depends on closeout models and overstock deals.  So, sometimes the selection isn't that great, but they are usually 1/2 the cost of anywhere else (if they ahve the shaft you need).

I can vouch for hunters friend as well.   There website is also very informative even if you don't purchase arrows from them.
