New to Turkey hunting

So i'mm new to turkey hunting, and want to go out this year with my younger brother and see what we can do. If anyone has any tips, or good areas to go let me know, any advice or pointers is really appreciated. Thanks guys.

You can use your locator call all day, not just in the morning.  Dont get to close on a roost set up, ive gotten within 100 yards without getting busted but that was pushing it.  If you get a bird to gobble between 11:30 and 3:00 do whatever you can to get to that bird.  They are usually by themselves at that time and looking for love.  You wont kill that many birds in camp.  I would say none, but once in a while............. Hope these tips help. 
If it looks fishy, fish it. If it doesn't look fishy, fish it anyway!

There is a free 2 hour turkey hunting seminar at Cabelas on Saturdya at 1 pm & Sunday at 3 pm if you can make it.  If not read past threads, read books, watch hunting videos, etc.
