We're planing on going back I do miss hunting back home. Last time I was home my wife, our kids and I put  9 deer in the freezer. We're are u planing on hunting I grew up 30 miles east of lake of the ozarks

:)  I spent alot of time just outside of Camdenton.  I'll be hunting mostly in NE MO and some in the very Southern part not too far from the Arkansas border.

HUGE bucks in Northern MO (every bit as big as Kansas and Iowa), LOTS of deer, not sure what it is they don't like but for whitetails it's hard to beat and in the Ozarks fantastic scenery in Oct and Nov.  In 2011 I went home and hunted for 10 days and saw close to 180 deer, killed 3, one with the bow and 2 with a rifle.  Probably the best squirrel hunting for fox and grey squirrels in the US.

I miss squirrel hunting. If I draw tag I will probably hunt KS this year. They have a good walk-in hunting area program that provides good opportunities from what I hear.

Hunted across the border of NE in S Iowa for deer. saw some monsters in that area. Great genetics.

Sounds like you'll have a good time
