I don't have much rifle hunting experience but I might this year if I get drawn for the multi season tag.

pretty much bow only for big game in washington.  Out of state or country and I'll try the first half of the hunt with bow, then if no luck, I'll go to the rifle.  Can't afford to spend money on a hunt and have tag soup.

I switch back and forth between muzzy and archery all the time, usually deer one and elk the other. Just seems like muzzy season hits the elk rut better. this year im archery elk unless I draw multi and not sure on deer yet.

I haven't archery hunted for 10 years, but this year I'm doing archery for deer, and muzzleloader for elk. Next year will probably be different. I almost always change from year to year. If I had to guess, I'd say next year I will probably do modern firearm for deer and archery for elk. Or hopefully will have the multi-season for at least one next year.
