I put this camera out on the 23rd and went and got it today. Wow! , I didnt know the elk were even in here! Some little bucks and does. This is addicting , now I have to find a better spot!

Wife has a westside archery elk tag so I will actually get to hunt over here also
I did pull that camera and will try another location. I actually had more descent photos also. A few at night one witha coyote.

Everyone seems to badmouth the cheaper Moutrie units, but for the money I'm not sure why. These are great pics! I'd rather have six cameras out capturing decent shots like these over a wider range than two expensive cams out capturing...uh...decent shots
. I'm sold and will picking up a few of these Moutrie D-40's. I'm convinced that you just don't need to sink a ton of money into "scouting" quality images. If you want video and high resolution/quality, I guess that's another story.
