They are made in China.  My ed2's have great glass.  I really like these binocs and would love to get the prime HD, but they are out of my price range.

Thanks roberts,
I did ordered the Prime 10-42 just now.  I be putting them to the test, and if they meet expectations I may sell them in my Pro Shop.  I've been looking for a long time and was so close to pull the trigger on a pair of home made Swarovski, just a little bit to spendy for my use.  Hope I like them!

This is my dad's first Zen Ray bino, he is very impress by it.  The build quality is excellent, the image is sharp, and one of the best customer service.

When I ordered my PRIME it said on the Website ships within 1-2 business days. So I opted to pay for 2 day delivery.  Hhmmm :(  :dunno:  They have shipped Primes before so I thought great I will get mine soon, NOT.  :(

I think what they have shipped before was the limited numbers first production run.  As far as I know the next bigger production run will ship on July 5, provided the July 4 Holiday doesn't slow arrival from the factory.

I have a final beta specimen of the Prime 10x42.  It's gonna be worth the wait I think.   Razor sharp with as nice a focus action as any binocular I have used.  Built like a tank too.

I sure hope, I thought they had them and were ready to be shipped, I guess I was wrong.  I ordered the 10x42 Prime, gutsy, because I never held one, seen one and after three weeks of researching I decided to go with Zen-Ray.   :dunno:
