Mountain House premium packs at Costco.
« on: March 17, 2012, 06:50:58 PM »
I was at Costco today and for the first time in a couple years, they have the Mountain House premium meal packs on sale...  A great deal for those that enjoy freeze dried meals for backpacking or possibly a high hunt.  10 - 2 person entrees inside for $44 bucks.  $23 less than Amazon.com.  If you havent tried this company's products, there pretty darn good.  With a seven year shelf life, you could always use the leftovers in the next few years...

That is a good deal.  I usually pay 5-7 bucks apiece for them locally.

Thanks for the heads up.

They're also at the Spokane store.  Only problem was, they aren't the typical ones I would normally buy.  I go with lasagna, spaghetti, mac and cheese, chili mac.  Don't think I'll ever buy the beef stew ever again...that flavor gets real old, real fast.

I'll never eat the Chili Mac again.  I thought I was going to have to burn my long johns and sleeping bag last time I ate that stuff.

Didn't care for the Chicken Teriyaki. Costco in Kennewick has them also. Found the best prices at Wholesale sports. But if you want some different type of meals REI has some good ones by AlpineAire and Natural High. Stocked up today.

That would be some good stuff to stock up on in case the  :crap: hits the fan and the economy gets worse.  (You know as in if the president gets re-elected). :twocents:

I really like the beef stroganoff.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.
