Anyone travel airlines with Tuffpack rifle cases?
« on: March 19, 2012, 01:51:52 PM »
I'd like to bring three firearms on a plane, but my current Pelican case will only hold 2 scoped rifles.

I saw some of the Tuffpack cases over the weekend and they look pretty nice - I like how you pack them in soft cases and use that for the padding (allows you to arrive on site with soft cases for hunting purposes).  Has anyone traveled with them before?  Have any issues with protection?

My friend has one like that for his gold clubs. Think it might be made by the same company.

I use a skb 4 rifle case when I travel long distances. It's the best case I have ever used. Most times there is either 2 rifles in the top or a rifle and handgun. Then I put my bow in the bottom :IBCOOL: I have packed 4 rifles before and it has lots of room.

I have one Rob.
3 scoped guns flew to Quebec and back in one.
Their production description of the is 100% true and correct!  You will not be disappointed.  I know it seems like an awful lot of $ but IMO, it's worth every penny!

The friend of mine who lives in Oregon who I mentioned to your hunting partner about the taxi in Idaho, borrowed my Tuff to go to Africa.  No problems there either.
