From what I understand, is the ocean is running 20-25 foot seas. I'd call down there and see if anyone is going out.

That would be rough. Hard to stay on the fish in those types of seas! Give us a report if you make it out! Good luck!

How did it go? I was thinking of how nice it would be to be fishing instead of digging clams on saturday morning, the water looked great

I was out on the Hula Girl on Saturday.  Best ling cod fishing I've seen (for numbers, anyway), on one of the nicest days I've ever had out on the ocean.  The lings were just committing suicide - we were pitching back legals by 10 am to try and get bigger fish for the rest of the boat's limit.  Caught them on everything, including shrimp flies.  One guy had two rock bass on his shrimp flies, and a ling hanging on one of the bass.  Deckhand netted all three at once...  we actually had to move a couple of times to get away from the lings to get our limit of rockies.   It was pretty fun.

On the fisherys bass tagging trip 7 guys boated 469 black sea bass that they tagged. Tony on sunday the jetty was a little rough the checker had one boat with 13 sea bass 3-5 pounds and one legal ling and 4 boats had zero anyway our time is coming.
