Washington State Bowhunters Meeting
« on: April 01, 2012, 04:54:27 AM »
Don't forget that today is the Washington State Bowhunters directors meeting in Cle Elum at the Sunset Cafe at 10 am.  I realize that it is a long ways from a lot of the state, and that will be rectified soon by having meetings in actual Eastern Washington once in a while; Cle Elum is still Western Washington; Moses Lake is Central Washington; and Rosalia is Eastern Washington.

We need input on plenty of topics and need new topics presented by the membership.  The banquet was a big success in Tacoma, but, without new topics and input, the board runs the risk of either going stagnant or alienating our membership on issues that the state brings to us.

All it takes is a phone call to one of the board members as we are driving that way today to get your voice heard about what YOU care about.  You don't want to just read the newsletter and see what happened without having any input about an issue or season that matters to you.  If I get a voicemail on my phone between now and 9:30 am today, then you can rest assured that the board will hear that message verbatim on speaker phone; most of my drive this morning is through areas without cell coverage, but call and leave me a message, and it will get heard by the rest of the board: 208-305-4195.

Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

Would love to have made it but could not. I wish I had seen your post before so I could have called and given my  :twocents: regarding the season start dates for early season, should always start on the 8th or so instead of this moving around and taking us further from the rut and work to get back the bull hunt in the Winston during late season.

Thanks Todd for posting this meeting, please keep it up to help get more attention on the issues and the WSB's efforts.

Please let us know what the topics were and where the biggest efforts are.

Thanks,
Fulla
