Grabbed up one of the first Sig Sauer 716's to hit town.
« on: March 27, 2012, 06:10:44 PM »
I missed the boat on this one, I had no clue Sig was even doing a semi .308. Walked into the shop today and there it was staring at me! I fondled it, loved it and made myself walk away. I actualy made it 10.2 miles before I talked myself into it. Pulled a U'e and hauled ass back to the shop.

Sig Sauer piston " Patrol Man" .308. I really like the single point sling attachments machined into the lower and the rail. Came with one MagPul black 20 round mag. The fact it used MagPul .308 Mags And has MagPul furniture were the selling points for me, way cool $heeeeet!!!

All dressed up for a hot date with some Rockchucks as soon as we get some sun.

Hammer, 1 of three things I can think of, you have an incredible job, your in debt to your ears or you dont have any kids?  Nice looking Sig for sure.  Some day I want to grow up and have an arsenal like Big Hammer  :chuckle:

.308 for rockchucks? What range are you shooting them at and what rangefinder are you using?
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

Most of my Rockchuck shooting has been done with a .300 Win Mag, so I guess I'll save a little powder running a .308 Winnie. Personal best in one spring/ summer is 176 chucks.

That's sick... What shop you buy from? Sig chamber an AR style in .204 do you know?
