New westside hunter
« on: March 28, 2012, 02:15:47 PM »
So I've been stationed over at McChord for about 3 years now and I'm looking to hunting in the upcoming general firearms deer and elk seasons. I haven't hunted in about 10 years and am used to hunting Muleys in Utah and Whitetail in South Carolina. That being said I am looking to hunt in the South Rainier and Storm King GMU's for Blacktail and Elk and would like to know if anyone has any new information on these areas. Also, any advice regarding blacktail and roosevelt elk hunting would be awesome.

JBLM isn't a bad place to hunt.  Might be worth your time to start there.
