Most impressive deer Ever...
« on: March 23, 2012, 08:35:06 AM »
Got this in an email this morning and since I hadn't seen it floating around the net yet, I thought some on here would appreciate it.  It is mind blowing to me to have a super 8 or straight 8 point grow enough inches of bone to even gross book let alone net book.  There have been a few in the past, but this thing shatters it and still has 9 1/2" in deductions.  A truly once in a lifetime dream buck that is very rare and very unique.  Desription is as follows:

On December 1, 2011, on the opening day of the second shotgun season in Illinois,  David Robinson tagged what will likely be the largest 8-point whitetail in the Boone & Crockett record books. Sanders, a 38-year-old farmer and veteran deer hunter, was hunting on his home farm when he set his sights on this world-class buck of a lifetime.
Gross 192-3/8”, Net 183-1/8

Dandy buck.  I would love to run across something like that during hunting season.

Holy mother of mercy!!!  I saw one of Myles Keller's booner 8 pointers up close and it was unreal.  Netted 183 or so if I recall.  This thing is GIANT.
