called one in
« on: July 27, 2008, 03:28:03 PM »
I called in a coyote this morning behind my house. Its a real good looking spot that Ive always wanted to try only problem is there are a ton of houses so safe shots are hard to come buy but I figured what the heck. sure enough about two blows on the call and I spoted one at about 400 yards got him to about 80 but no safe shot, he then circled to catch my wind and saw my truck and boggied. Still fun just calling. JB

Put up a blind or a tree stand and take him with a bow ... that's considered quite a trophy!

A shot gun is good in area's you want to use some thing with a limited range. I still wouldnt shoot toward a house though. :twocents:

My dad had one show up in his field the other morning, but he didn't get a shot. I know there are a bunch back there. I just need to go call them.
