I have a freind that is a outfitter in North Eastern oregon . I was invited to do this helicopter thing but couldnt get the time to do it. They have a severe coyote problem on the ranch, 30,000deeded acres and another 60,000 leased acres . That is how they help control the yote population. They killed over 300 coyotes in 1 day  and still have problems. They were charging 50 bucks a person to help pay for the chopper.

About as sporting as shooting a bear out tree or over bait.

I'd do it in a heartbeat though given the chance.  Looks like fun!

Probablly just about as sporting as shooting a whole bunch of house cats huh??

There's a difference between sporting and management, about the same difference between ferel and house... but hey, I wouldn't expect those of short mind to understand either of them. Have fun in your helicopter... I hope it has an ejection seat!

So you're saying you don't understand... that's ok, at least you don't have to use up all your crayons when you type on the computer.

That is interesting but I would not do it. If it's within the laws I have no problem with others doing it.

want to give the anti's more fuel here ya go just don't bitch when they take everything away. The non hunting public does not know any better so it's the group with the most $ that will win just like with the baiting and hound laws. Does the game dept want to change them back yeah but if they do they commit political suicide so were stuck with the little by little changes we get

What you have to remember is how the general public views such actions. The majority are non hunters and they already took away hound hunting and bear baiting. And the antis get a video like that and they can manipulate it to there advantage. So until hunters are the majority of the voting population we have to be careful on how we present our sport cause once you lose part of it you can be sure you'll never get it back.

Well said, 3D.

Not only do I not oppose it, it's flat out NECESSARY in some areas in the country. It's not hunting. It's ADC. Don't critisize it for not being sporting... it's not supposed to be sporting. It's suppose to reduce Coyote numbers in an area.

But it shouldn't be in the public eye. The huggers of bunnies have a tendency to not understand wildlife management.... and they vote!
